Frequently Asked Questions
How is rooming decided?
Roommates are assigned based on age and application preferences, with consideration for self-described gender and age for optimal roommate pairings. Students reside in residence halls with live-in staff members providing ongoing support and supervision.
Do you accept international students?
Yes! International students can generally participate in the TryEngineering Summer Institute with a tourist visa (typically a B-1/B-2 visa). F-1 and M-1 student visas are usually not required for this program.
It is the responsibility of each international student to obtain the necessary visa from the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate in their home country. The Institute does not provide assistance with visa applications or entry into the United States.
When is the final payment due?
Final payment is due May 15th, 2026. Registrations after this date must be paid in full.
Do you offer scholarships?
Yes! A limited number of need-based scholarships are available to U.S. residents. These scholarships may cover full or partial tuition costs for qualified applicants. To see the full list of information and to apply, please visit our scholarship page.
