Scholarship Overview
The IEEE TryEngineering Summer Institute Scholarship is a need-based scholarship that offers financial assistance to students interested in attending the TryEngineering Summer Institute during the summer of 2026.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be current 9th through 12th graders (ages 14-17) during the 2025-2026 school year
- The scholarship is only available to United States citizens, who reside in the U.S.
- International applicants and children of IEEE staff members are not eligible
- Selection criteria will include the following areas: letter of recommendation, personal student essay, and demonstrated financial need*
*Approximate family income limitation for scholarship USD $100,000, with consideration given to family size and location.
