TryEngineering Live: Engineer Spotlight will give a glimpse into the careers and lives of engineers. It will offer students who are interested in possibly becoming engineers, or who just want to learn more about the profession, an opportunity to ask questions to our guests.

This series will feature professional engineers, engineering students, and other technologists.

Our guest is Dr. Erik Brewer

Dr. Erik Brewer is a lecturer of Biomedical Engineering and Chair of Innovation and External Partnerships at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. His research interests include biomaterials and drug delivery, with an emphasis on translational research, commercialization, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Brewer is also a Polymer Scientist at a medical device start-up, ReGelTec, Inc., based in Baltimore, MD, which is currently beginning clinical studies. He received his B.S. in 2007 and his Ph.D. in 2014, both in Chemical Engineering and from Drexel University.
